WELCOME TO TRACEY MAGNET SCHOOL!

Tracey Magnet is a 2019 National Blue Ribbon School and a National School of Character. Instruction at Tracey Magnet is rooted in fostering the character, social and emotional skills of each student.  Students are welcomed into the Tracey family and supported on their academic and social/emotional journeys through supportive dialogue, classroom community and character based academic lessons.

At Tracey, students learn what it means to be a Tracey Cub, and leave their PRINT on the world.  Leaving your PRINT as a Cub means, that we embed our instruction and social interactions in being: Problem Solvers, Respectful, having Integrity, being Neighborly and Taking Responsibility.

Students at Tracey Magnet show their PRINT beyond the classroom and into the Greater Norwalk Community through Service Learning Projects.  Service Learning allows grade levels to collaborate with community partners, identify a need, work together to problem solve and apply their classroom knowledge in solving these real world problems.
